Gallup's mandate had three parts: create an authentic brand experience rather than a generic professional office, enable its specialist team to work and live differently, and make full use of the harbour views that came with the North Sydney address.
The design used deliberately homey elements to establish a relaxed working atmosphere — soft gray furnishings with brand-inspired yellow tones in the rugs, custom pendant lights over the casual break-out areas — while a neon light logo in the lobby announces the company name to visitors and passers-by, doing the brand's work at the threshold the way good retail signage does.
On completion, feedback from Gallup's own employees confirmed the space met the mandate — which matters, because an office judged successful by the people who use it every day is a harder test than one judged from photographs.
This project was delivered in Australia by the Inscape group, the established commercial construction group behind Inscape Retail Projects. It is published here as evidence of the group's brand-environment delivery discipline; US programs are delivered by the US operating entity, as on the Cullen Jewellery rollout.
